Candidates with JELET 2018 rank will be given first preference. 2. Candidates with diploma in Engineering & Technology will be given second preference. 3. Candidates with B.Sc degree will be given Third Preference. 4. Candidates must pass the last qualifying examination with requisite percentage of Marks as mentioned in INFORMATION BULLETIN JELET-2018. 5. Candidate must be domiciled in West Bengal (Relevant certificate in the specific format should be produced). 6. Candidate should fulfil all eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions as stipulated
by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board as mentioned in INFORMATION BULLETIN JELET 2018. 7. Provisional admission will be made after verification of relevant documents. The provisional admission is liable to be cancelled if any documents is found to be false later. 8. Admission under SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B Quota: The Candidate shall have to furnish original and self-attested copies of valid SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B Certificate in his/her name issued by the Government of West Bengal (Certificate issuing authority should be as mentioned by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board in respect of the examination JELET 2018 ). 9. Documents to be brought at the time of counselling. a) Rank Card issued by WBJEE 2018. b) Duly filled in Application form for decentralized counselling, 2018 available with this notice. c) Admit Card of WBJELET 2018. d) Relevant domicile certificate of West Bengal (in the specific format). e) Admit-card, Mark-Sheet of Madhyamik Examination (10 TH standard) or equivalent Examination. f) Admit-card, Mark-Sheet of H.S Examination (10+2 standard) or equivalent Examination. g) SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B (Original & Xerox copy). h) After admission students are directed to submit anti ragging declaration and Medical fitness certificate before the commencement of regular classes. i) Any Photo Identity Proof issued by a Government Agency (Voter ID, Adhar card, PAN card, driving license etc.). 10. Candidates are requested to take note of the followings. a. Counselling and admission will be made completely according to Merit only, depending upon the availability of seats. b. the candidate will be called according to preferences as mentioned in the eligibility Criteria and after verification of the documents he/she will get the option to choose the department based on the available vacant seats at that point. c. Candidates must produce the original mark- sheets and other certificates for Verification, without which no admission will be considered. d. Candidates must appear in person along with all necessary documents to take part in counselling and must report at the venue of the counselling on 26 th September, 2018 before 12 noon. After the schedule time no candidate will be allowed to participate in the counselling process under any circumstances.
e. Counselling and Admission will be held on the same date ie. On 26 th September, 2018. No request in that regard will be entertained. No counselling and admission will be possible if the candidate is not personally present. f. Counselling and admission will be closed as soon as the vacant seats are filled up. Hence all candidates may not be called for Counselling if the seats are filled up by candidates having better JELET 2018 Rank and or greater preference. No counselling will take place after the declared schedule. 11. The selected candidates must bring demand draft on the same day in favour of Cooch Behar Government Engineering College payable at Cooch Behar of amount Rs. 11780/- for CSE/ECE department and of amount Rs. 8280/- for CE/ME/EE department as Total Admission fees. Payment of fees can be done ONLY by Demand Drafts from a nationalized bank. 12. In case of emergency college authority may take any instant decision related to the decentralized counselling.
