SHARING THE MEMORIES OF ALUMNI Mr. R. Subramani, (EEE Alumni of 2005 2009 Batch) PG Student, Anna University, Chennai I am feeling very happy and nostalgic to share a few memories about my second home Sethu Institute of Technology. I had a wonderful environment to learn new things and to earn some valuable lessons which is worth enough to lead a meaningful life for lifetime. I am really thankful for my Professors from whom I gained the subject knowledge which is keeping me alive and competitive in my working environment. My transition from a normal student during schooling to best outgoing student of my department was purely due to the motivation and freedom given by my peers and staffs of the Institution. Finally I thank the college management who are consistently working towards the student s career shaping who also shaped my future by fetching me a job in core sector. Thank you all once again. Mr. R.Raghavendran (EEE Alumni of 2004 2008 Batch) Asst Manager, Tata Consulting Engineers I feel it was a wonderful learning experience being there at SIT. All our staffs were very cordial and enthusiastic towards students. We were always encouraged to take part in various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities both within and outside the college like technical Paper presentation, Mini Projects and various other cultural activities also. I got placement through campus interview in a Thermal Power plant back in the year 2008. I am thankful to the management for arranging the same. I am sure that the Management is really committed towards bringing more companies at the doorsteps for placement of the students. I wish the Management and our Department my Best wishes and assuring of our support at any point of time for the same. Alumni members are invited to share their achievements, noble services and sweet memories by sending them to alumni@sethu.ac.in for publishing in the forthcoming Newsletter issues. 10 P a g e
