Accessing the Student Internships and Affiliation Agreements The application requires you to log into the system. Only authorized users are allowed to use portions of the system. Your username and password are the same as the ones you use to log onto your computer. In order to exit the application, select the sign out link at the top right of the screen. Page 2
Browser Compatibility SIA is designed to work with the latest versions of the following browsers: Chrome (Mac, Windows, ios, and Android) Safari (Mac and ios only) Firefox (Mac, Windows) Internet Explorer (Version 9 or later)opera (Mac, Windows) Internet Explorer 9 Internet Explorer 9 is currently supported with limitations. Please be aware that there may be slight rendering issues as this browser does not support the latest web standards. Internet Explorer 8 Internet Explorer 8 is not supported. Internet Explorer 9 is available on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. If you are on Windows 7 or Windows 8, it is strongly advised that you upgrade to Internet Explorer 10, or use an alternative browser that supports modern web standards. Page 3
Student Home The student home page has a navigation bar on the left of the screen with the options: Masters Options: Internship Applications: Submit New: Submit New: Clicking the link, displays a listing of previously entered masters options. The user has the ability to view the details and status of a selected masters option. Canceling a masters option is also available. Clicking the link, displays the new masters option form to be filled out by the student. Clicking the link displays a listing of previously entered internship applications. New Masters Option Course Enrollment Student Internships and Affiliation Agreements Students The Submit New Masters Option Course Enrollment is pre-populated with your student id and name from your student record. You are asked to enter your phone number, select the semester of the enrollment, provide the number of hours, select one or multiple capstones, select your academic career, as well as the subject and course. When selecting Psychology as a subject, a Plan/Subplan drop down is displayed, and is required. Selecting the submit button saves he information and prompts you to agree to the Masters Option Course Enrollment Agreement [see next page.] Page 5

You will then be directed to My Masters Option Course Enrollment Requests [see next page.] Selecting Cancel returns you to the New Masters Option Course Enrollment screen. Page 6

You have the option to view the Details using the button to the left of the row. Please note the status of the enrollment is conveniently displayed. The Cancel button changes the status to cancelled, and can no longer be used when creating internship applications. Page 7
New Internship Application Request: Masters Option Selection When creating an internship application request, you must first select a masters option. Each masters option is associated with one internship application request. Information from the masters option will automatically populate some of the information to follow. Page 8
New Internship Application Request: Student Contact Information Your contact information is the first section to fill out. The preferred phone type/number as well as the preferred email are required. You can optionally specify alternate phone type/number and email address. The system utilizes google mailing address to search for your mailing address. Begin typing the address in the Address Search box. A list of possible matches are displayed below the search box. When you see your address you may click on it to populate the corresponding address fields. Optionally you may simply type in the correct address within the appropriate fields. Page 9
New Internship Application Request: Academic Information Student Internships and Affiliation Agreements Students Your academic career will be pre-populated from the selected masters option. Enter your academic program, advisor, and areas of interest. The proposed graduation date is in the format MM-YYYY, it can be entered manually or clicking the calendar icon on the right side of the field. Page 10
New Internship Application Request: Student Orientation Student Internships and Affiliation Agreements Students Select and orientation type from the drop down. If you have attended orientation, the orientation date is in the format MM-YYYY, it can be entered manually or clicking the calendar icon on the right side of the field. Enter your credit hours information in the provided fields. You may enter the number manually, or use the spinner arrows on the right side of the field. Page 11
New Internship Application Request: Internship Organization Details [if known] Selecting the Yes option for Org. or Agency Known? Displays areas to enter the information specific to the Organization/Agency. Supervisor name, phone type, number, name of Agency, phone type, and number shall be entered. The system utilizes google mailing address to search for your mailing address. Begin typing the address in the Address Search box. A list of possible matches are displayed below the search box. When you see your address you may click on it to populate the corresponding address fields. Optionally you may simply type in the correct address within the appropriate fields. Page 12
New Internship Application Request: Past Student Internship Experience [if applicable]/courses, Strengths, and Weaknesses Selecting the Yes option for Prior Experience? Displays an area to describe the nature of the prior internship. Areas for remaining courses, your personal strengths, and challenges and weaknesses are required to be entered. Page 13
New Internship Application Request: Applicant Checklist/Form Upload Clicking the check boxes within the Checklist option is required as you verify your documents. You must upload each of the documents. Clicking the Browse button will display a dialog allowing you to select the appropriate file. Page 14
