Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) aims to develop critical skills and business knowledge among the undergraduate students in order to compete in the complex and rapidly changing environment of business and public sectors. The program provides foundation knowledge and skills in Business and encourages students to keep pace with the rapid progress of science and technology and to address issues in the field of Business. The program allows the students to pursue any of the 4 specializations, namely, Accounting, Finance, MIS and Management, according to their career aspirations. Our BBA program is continuously assessed and evaluated to incorporate latest developments in the field of business. Program s Learning Goals and Objectives 1. Students will demonstrate latest theoretical and practical business knowledge and understanding across functional areas. Objectives: Students will be able to recognize basic business concepts. 2. Students will be effective communicators in an organizational environment. Objectives: Students will be able to present information orally. Students will be able to present information in writing. 3. Students will demonstrate that they are critical thinkers. Objectives: Students will evaluate alternatives and develop relevant decisions within a given business context. 4. Students will be able to demonstrate that they have a relevant understanding of ethics, social responsibility, and cultures diversity. Objectives: Students will be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge about social responsibility. Students will be able to recognize ethical issues and situations. Students will be able to differentiate the diverse business world situations. 5. Students will acquire relevant team-working skills. Admission to the Program Criteria for admission to the BBA program: A. The applicant must have passed the preparatory program of Qassim University, or any such equivalent preparatory program, with a minimum GPA or 2/5. B. The applicant must pass the aptitude test conducted by CBE. Specializations (Majors) The BBA program offers the following 4 specializations (or majors): 1. Accounting 2. Finance 3. Management 4. Management Information Systems (MIS) Medium of instruction The program is conducted in Arabic language. Duration of Study The minimum program duration is of eight semesters (four years). Degree offered Students will be offered the following degrees, depending upon their spcializations after successful completion of the program: 1. Bachelor of Accounting 2. Bachelor of Finance 3. Bachelor of Management 4. Bachelor of MIS Program structure A. The program curriculum is distributed over 8 levels, out of which the first 3 levels are devoted for building foundation knowledge and skills in Business. Specialization courses are offered during level 4 to level 8. B. The coursework consists of 156 to 173 credit hours depending upon the specialization, out of which 129 hours are for theory courses and rest are for practical courses. C.
