Overview of the Fort HealthCare Network of Care Fort HealthCare provides quality healthcare to the residents of an area encompassing all of Jefferson County and parts of Dane, Rock and Walworth Counties. Fort Memorial Hospital is a modern, fully-accredited acute care facility with 82 beds. More than 100 physicians are on staff. Satellite clinics offering primary and specialty care are located in Fort Atkinson, Cambridge, Edgerton, Johnson Creek, Jefferson, Lake Mills and Whitewater. Fort Medical Group, a subsidiary of Fort HealthCare, employs more than 60 physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers. Fort HealthCare offers comprehensive inpatient services, ambulatory surgery and specialty clinics, a birthing center, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, emergency services including urgent care for after-hours treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, home healthcare, sports medicine and more.
