OIR Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success Initiatives RESEARCH BRIEF 56-16 October 2016 Top Transfer Institutions by Degree Program: 2013-14 and 2014-15 This Research Brief presents data on the top transfer institutions by students entering institutions in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 academic years. Table 1 displays the top transfer institutions of any student regardless of whether they first graduated with a degree. The transfer institution with the largest number of students in 2013-14 and 2014-15 was George Mason University (28 and 29 percent, respectively). Tables 2 through 5 display the top transfer institutions of graduates. The transfer institution with the largest number of graduates in both 2013-14 and 2014-15 was George Mason University (56 percent of transfers with degrees). The degree program with the largest number of graduates transferring in both 2013-14 and 2014-15 was the General Studies A.S. program (26 percent of transfers with degrees). Table 1.
