Vanchipurackal participated in the two days workshop on Experimental Physics, organized by APT, at Providence College Calicut on 14, 15 November 2015. Invited talks delivered by faculty Dr. Ison V. Vanchipurackal delivered a talk on Light Emitting Diodes at Achamma Memorial H.S.S., Kanjirappally on 6 August 2015. He delivered a talk on Bulk heterojunction solar cells as part of the National Seminar on Recent advances in Growth and Characterization of non-linear optical crystals and nanomaterials held at S.H. Department of Chemistry CHEMISTRY ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION 2015 The activities of the Chemistry Association of St. Thomas College Pala for the academic year 2015-2016 was inaugurated in a ceremonial function conducted on 16/10/2015 at 10.15 am in the college library hall. Dr. Thomas V. Mathew, the Staff Advisor of the Association gave a warm welcome to the guests and audience. Sri. Bejoy Mathew, HOD of the Chemistry Department delivered the Presidential Address. The inaugural address was given by Dr. Sunny Joseph, the Principal of the College. Dr. Sunny Kuriakose Associate Professor in Chemistry delivered a felicitation speech during the function. The first year Undergraduate and Postgraduate students were welcomed to the Chemistry community by the senior students in a ceremonial way with lighted candles. Cultural programmes performed by the students gave more color and melody to the function. The function was concluded with the vote of thanks. 7 Bi-Monthly News letter November-2015

The programme was presided by Dr. Sunny Joseph, Principal, St. Thomas College, Palai. Prof. K.S Mathew, Former Head of the Department of History, Pondicherry Central University, addressed the audience and Fr. The first invited talk was conducted on 12 October 2015. The speaker for the day was Dr. Johnson Jament, Professor, University of Northampton, England.
