School Uniform Shop The school uniform shop, which is located on the school campus near Haybrook House, is open daily from 8.30am until 9.15am, Mondays to Thursdays. New parents will be contacted by the School Shop Manager to make an appointment outside of the times above. The school shop takes cash or cheques or purchases can be added to your school bill. The uniform costs approximately 400-450 for a pupil in Year 3 to Year 8. Please note that there is good quality second hand uniform available. Specifics: Shoes - plain black lace-up, buckle or Velcro shoes (no slip-ons, patent or open-toes) with low soles and heels. Wellingtons (any) must be kept in school for all children from Nursery through to Year 8. Hair ties or hair bands must match the hair colour of the individual (ie black or brown) or be in the following colours: dark blue, red or red and white checked. No jewellery should be worn except small plain studs if ears are pierced (this is not encouraged). Labelling school clothes: All uniform and equipment must be clearly named inside items using name tapes. It is very important that shoes and trainers are also clearly named. Please note: Weather permitting, children may return to school in September wearing their Summer uniform. Winter uniform must be worn from after the October half term holiday. Summer uniform may be worn from the start of the Summer Term, although winter uniform is acceptable until the day after the May Bank Holiday Monday at the start of May, after which summer uniform should be worn. Smart uniform for Year 3 to Year 6 As per every day Autumn and Spring uniform with the exception of the following: Check shirts are replaced with white shirts (available from the school shop) No jumpers should be worn blazers only. In Summer long white socks should be worn.
