By working hand in hand with peers and mentors from supporting departments and adapting their research, concepts and technical skills in fine art into other fields; it has always stirred new interests in the students and has translated into some phenomenal works. The school encourages self-exploration and independent research. Every project is evolved through the practice of systematic methodology of researching, responding and recording of a given subject. Students will be able to critically explore reference and analyze the work of historical, cultural and contemporary practice when developing personal ideas and solutions. The school fosters a global context of learning,. Exposure in various forms such as overseas students academic visits, international faculty visits, joint projects with students across various global universities are just a few contributors to the global vision of the school.the culture at the school is informal. Every student enjoys the benefit of personal mentoring throughout the year. Students have a choice of committed mentors, some of who are practicing artists from various fields within Fine art, who offer their expertise in specialized subjects. At times mentors invite students to participate and assist them in their personal projects where students not only gain first hand experience of working on conceptual art ideas but are also exposed to professional practice. School of Fine Art at FAD International also incubates and supports its young artists through its own art gallery and studio, thus extending assistance and mentoring to its young artists to foray into professional practice.
