Year 12 & 13 GCE Exam Timetable 2017 GCE Practical and Oral Exams All students attend lessons as normal throughout this time. Students are released from lessons to take these exams as required. Students taking these exams register with their group tutor at 9.10am and then attend their exams as required. GCE Written Examinations Students assemble for the start of the following exams in the Y7/8 Quad or Java/Chikara at the times shown for each session. You should check in advance on the Exams Noticeboard for details of your exact room for each exam. You will need to know your 4-digit exam number. Year 13 students attend normal lessons until 22 nd May. They will be released from lessons to take an exam before this date. On 19 th May there will be a leaver s assembly for Year 13 students. An indication of the level of the exam (AS, or A2) has been given in most cases. However, due to students re-sitting modules they must check carefully with their subject teachers and refer to their individual timetables to ensure that they know which modules they are due to take. AM exams start at 9.20am and PM exams start at 1.10pm. Students must ensure that they are at the relevant exam venue in plenty of time to avoid unnecessary delays in starting exams. Exams for Today notices will be posted on the exams notice board in the hall/gym corridor, it is the students responsibility to ensure they know where their exam is taking place. GCE Results Day. These are available for collection from The College between 9.00am and 12.00pm (Yr 13) and 10am and 12.00pm (Yr 12) on 17 th August 2016. Exam Certificates. These are received from the exam boards by the beginning of November. Once collated they will be given out at the Presentation Evening in December, certificates not collected will be posted out at the beginning of January. NOTE: This timetable does not list potential re-sit dates. The timetable will be updated to reflect these at the end of March.
