CoOp login to the LMS To login to the LMS click this icon: or use link https://sunocouniversity.cogentys.net The Username is your Employee ID: Type in ALL 8 digits including the zeroes. The Password is changeme (all lowercase, one word) unless you have created a password. Click Log In button. When you first login, the system will prompt you to change your Password from changeme. 1) Retype your Employee ID all 8 digits with the zeroes. 2) Type a new password. See red text for format. 3) Retype the password. 4) Click Save. The System will confirm your password was saved successfully. 2

Security Questions The system will ask you to complete two of six questions to help you change your password or get a new one if you forget yours. You will also be required to change your password every 90 days. On the LMS, click this link if you forget or need to change your password. The User Security Information window opens and will show your information as it appears in the system. Note: If any of this information is not correct, email sunocounivesity@sunocoinc.com and give full details on what is not correct including your name, coop/store number or department, employee ID, and phone number so you can be contacted for corrections. This is an example of how to complete the security questions. 3

Select a question and type the answer into the first box labeled Answer: then select the next question. The finished result will look like this. Once you have changed your password and answered the two security questions, the LMS opens to the Courses tab. 4

How to Take a Class NOTE: All courses have sound, so use headphones or speakers. If the course is a video, then you will need the sound to understand the course. The opening slide of all courses have instructions on how to activate the sound and navigate the course. The LMS now shows the learner ALL of their courses in one view. Courses that have a View button in the Enroll column are Learning Paths, i.e. they have multiple parts such as elearning, Word or PDF documents, PowerPoints, or video. You will need to complete all of the individual parts to complete the course. The next page shows a course with multiple parts. Continued Next Page 5

In this example, the PAPs are Personal Action Plans that are documents you need to print before you take the course. These documents are used for taking notes and helping them you the content. When all of the courses are complete, the line with the View button will show Complete. NOTE: The!LMS Instructions course will NEVER complete. It is designed to communicate ideas, information, and updates so it will ALWAYS appear in your course list. New Hire Course Example: Click each Enroll button to take each course. A course that has an Enroll button only has one part that will open when you click the Enroll button. Exit the Course When you finish the course, there will either be an exit button to complete the course, or you may close the window to take another course or to close the LMS. Exit the LMS Always click the Logout link in the upper right corner of the LMS when you are done. 7

How to Print Documentation Some courses have documentation that is called a Personal Action Plan (PAP). You should print the PAP first and use it to take the course. The PAP has questions you should answer to help you remember the course and then discuss with the store manager or trainer. 1) Click View button. 4) Click Enroll button after the PAP has printed and take the course. 2) Click Enroll button for the PAP. The PAP opens in a new window. The bar below will appear at the bottom of the document: Close the window after the PAP has printed. 3) Click Printer icon. See Step 4 to take the course. Store managers are to ensure each employee has taken the elearning and can discuss it. The employee should demonstrate the skills and/or knowledge from the course by performing the correct actions in the store. The trainer should also provide feedback and more practice until the level of performance is acceptable. Continued Next Page 8

Help and Support for the LMS If you are having technical problems with your PC, call help desk. If you are having problems with login or taking a course, email Sunoco University at sunocouniversity@sunocoinc.com and include the following information: Store Manager s Name Name and Employee ID of the person with the problem Store CoOp Number Store Phone Number Area Manager s Name (CoOps are listed under AOMs so this helps us find you) Best time to call As much as you can tell us about the problem. Reboot your Back Office PC AT LEAST once a week. This will clear the PC memory of problems and uploads any updates that have been sent to your PC. It could even help to reboot your PC if you are having problems before you send an email. LMS Instructions Complete 9
