Year 3 English Medium Term Planning Genres: Autumn Spring Summer Stories with familiar settings Traditional tales Informal letters Reports Non-chron reports Poetry Myths & Legends Character descriptions Instructions Recounts Poetry Adventure & mystery stories Dialogues & plays Information texts Authors Poetry Core books will be introduced throughout the year to develop knowledge and skills across the English curriculum.
