Application Support Pages Proposed Subject Choices for September 2018 final offer determined by subject applications Students should initially select 4 A Levels or equivalents. In September 2018, some students will take 3 courses and some students will take 4 courses. Please choose your preferred 4 choices in rank order. Please check the Course Handbook for course details and the entry requirements for each course. With the new A Levels, students will either take: o An internally set Summer Examination at the end of Year 12 and then the full public A Level at the end of Year 13. o A public AS examination at the end of Year 12 followed by the full Public A Level examination at the end of Year 13. In this case, the overall A Level result replaces the AS results gained in Year 12. Before the Curriculum Reform, AS results counted for half of the overall A Level Results and A2 examinations counted for the other half. Now, the full A Level examination replaces the old AS and A2 examination content accounts for the entire result.
