NYUSPS Access 2016-2017 Academic Year Application The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYUSPS) Access program is a 10-month alternative college preparatory pathway that is designed to equip students for higher education and a career. This program supports recent high school graduates who seek to strengthen readiness skills for college or to enter the job market while earning college credit. Applicant Eligibility Must be graduating in June 2016 or be a recent high school graduate from an NYS accredited high school and live in the NYC-metro area All applicants are required to sit for an Accuplacer assessment, which will be administered by NYU School of Professional Studies. Academic Tracks There are two tracks of study available to you: Hospitality and Tourism Discover an understanding of the hospitality industry as a business and analyze how your passion for food, restaurants, or travel can become a future career. Creative Technology Learn the basic concepts of gaming, to understand what defines a game, and build your own 2D and 3D games while developing skills such as basic programming, critical thinking, storytelling and graphic design through hands-on workshops and seminars.
