The fraternity and sorority community at University of Delaware encompasses 4,932 students (28.2% of undergraduate students) through 48 chapters which are currently organized into four overarching communities: Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Congress (MGC), Panhellenic Council (Panhellenic), and Special Interest Greek Council (SIGC). Academic achievement is indeed a value of the community as evidenced by the all fraternity and sorority 3.253 GPA being higher than the all undergraduate 3.145 GPA. Member Development and Community Involvement Summary for Spring 2018 Member Development Throughout the semester, chapters are expected to have at least 80% of members attend at least one educational program, event, or experience in any of the topics of personal development, leadership development, enhancing cultural competency, and promoting wellness.
