GRADUATE BEHAVIOR: Seniors are expected to follow all NISD and Warren/CCA High School rules and policies during the rehearsal and the graduation ceremony. Jumping, running, dancing, hand signals, waving, twirling or any other hand, head, or body motion will not tolerated. Students may be pulled from the processional, stage ceremony, or recessional if they do not adhere to these expectations. Please refer to Page A-6 of the Earl Warren/CCA High School Student-Parent Handbook. Students must keep their hands at their sides. The only time hands may be lifted is when receiving their diplomas from the school board and shaking the hand of the superintendent. Students demonstrating any other behaviors that serve to lessen the dignity of the event may result in prohibiting the student from participating in the ceremonies, being removed from the ceremonies, and may result in a discipline hearing to resolve the matter. A violation may result in a notation on the student s permanent record. The diploma will be withheld and a meeting with campus administration will be required. GUESTS: Remind your guests to participate appropriately in the ceremony and ask them to refrain from doing anything which may detract from the ceremony. Tickets are not required. Northside ISD has a history of conducting very proper and dignified graduation ceremonies, and we want this event for the fifteenth graduating class of WHS/CCA, the class of 2018, to be considered the very best Northside ceremony. We are very proud of all of your accomplishments both as students and as important members of the Warren community. What you have accomplished will set a high standard of expectations for future WHS students. We have had an excellent year thanks to your contributions, the support of your parents, and with your help and cooperation, we will have an exemplary graduation ceremony.
