I (Forensic Science) using Online Admission Portal (onlineadmissionifsc.in) Welcome to the admission portal for B.Sc. Admissions (2018 19) in Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur. This instruction guide leads you through step by step process to fill up the online application form. Before you start the application process, keep the following documents ready 1. Demand Draft of Rs. 100 /- in favour of Director, Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur payable at Nagpur 2. Mark Sheet of 10 th standard 3. Mark Sheet of 12 th standard 4. Scanned Copy of Recent Photograph 5. Scanned Copy of Signature 6. Aadhar Card (if available) 7. Voter Id (if available) 8. Front Page of Bank Passbook (Preferably of the student. If the student doesn t have a bank account then please furnish details of the parent) Please go through the document thoroughly. Kindly note that the candidate has to submit the original Demand draft of Rs. 100 along with the printout of the Online application form. On logging onto onlineadmissionifsc.in, the following page opens You have to Register first. Select the button. The following window opens You have to fill in the details and select. Make sure that you fill in the correct details. Page 2
On registering, the following window opens Note down your Registration Number and Password. The Registration Number will be required for all further communication. Select to proceed further. You will get the following window. Page 3
Fill in all the details and select. Note: a. If you don t know your blood group, leave it at Unknown. b. If your Permanent Address is same as the Correspondence Address, select the check box. Otherwise enter your Permanent Address. c. If you don t have Aadhar and Voter Id, leave the fields blank. d. For Date of Birth, you will get the following window. Select the appropriate date from it. If you are a domicile of Maharashtra, select open,. In this case the following window will Enter your Religion, Caste and select the Category. If you are not a domicile of Maharashtra, select open,. In this case the following window will Enter Your State of Domicile, Religion and Caste. There shall be no reservation for the Backward Class Category seats in case of Candidates from outside Maharashtra. They will be considered as Open Candidates while preparing the merit list. Enter the details of the Demand Draft and Bank Details in the next section. Note: a. If the candidate doesn t have a bank account, he/she give the details of his parent s bank account. Page 6

If you received grades in Class 10 th, select. The following window opens, Enter you grades in The percentage for your respective grade will be calculated by multiplying it with 9.5. You have to enter your board and date of passing. Then enter the details for Class 12 th. If you didn t receive grades in Class 10 th, select. The following window opens, Enter the details of Class 10 th and 12 th. If you have cleared Class 12 th in the first attempt, enter 0 in If you have cleared Class 12 th in the second attempt, enter 1 and so on. 1% of marks will be deducted for each extra attempt. Enter your Family Income. For Ex-Serviceman, Hostel Facility, Gap in Academics, Physical Handicap and Minority select Yes or No from the drop down menus. Page 8
Next You have to upload your photograph in Choose a.jpg or.png file. The name of the file should be of the format yourregistrationcodephoto. e.g. In this case it would be MSR55065-photo and then select. You can view the photo in the window and then select. Next you have to upload your signature in Choose a.jpg or.png file. Take a printout of the form. Put signatures at appropriate places and attach the required self attested documents. Submit the application form along with the original demand draft of Rs. 100/-.
