Draftsman (Civil) Trade in ITI 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M. CATEGORY I (Posts) Recruitment of Forest Section Officer (FSO), Forest Beat Officer (FBO), Assistant Beat Officer (ABO), Thanadar (TH) and Bunglow Watcher (BW) consists of three parts, where Part-I: General Essay writing for 60 Minutes (1Hr) duration and for 20 marks. The booklet for the post of FSO consists of 6 pages and the candidate has to write the essay in 500 words. The booklet for the post of ABO, FBO, TH & BW consists of 4 pages and the candidate has to write the essay in 250 words. No additional answer sheet will be given. The candidate has to answer one question out of three questions.
Part-II: General Knowledge test for 90 Minutes (1½ Hrs) duration and for 100 marks. It consists of 50 multiple choice type questions of 2 marks each. Part-III: General Mathematics test for 90 Minutes (1½ Hrs) duration and for 100 marks. It consists of 50 multiple choice type questions: 10 questions of 1 mark each (Total 10 marks), 30 questions of 2 marks each (Total 60 marks), and 10 questions of 3 marks each (Total 30 marks). The Distribution of common Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer sheets begins at 9.20 A.M. and the Question Paper Booklet of Part-II (General Knowledge) will be issued at 9.30 A.M. The Question Paper Booklet of Part-II (General Knowledge) will be collected back at 11.00 A. M. The distribution of Part III (General Mathematics) Question Paper Booklets starts at 10.55 A.M. and the distribution will be completed by 11.00 A. M. The Question Paper Booklets of Part-III (General Mathematics) and the common OMR answer sheets will be collected back at 12.30 P.M. Part I (General Essay) Question Paper along with the Answer Booklet will be issued at 1.00 P.M. Both Part-I Question Paper and answer booklet will be collected back at 2.00 P.M. CATEGORY II (Post) Recruitment of Technical Assistant post consists of three parts, where Part-I: Draftsman (Civil) Trade in ITI, Descriptive Type test for 180 Minutes (3 Hrs) duration. 32 Pages answer sheet will be given for writing their examination. No additional answer sheet will be given. It consists of descriptive type examination for 100 marks. The candidate has to answer 5 questions out of 8 questions and each question carries 20 marks. Part-II: General Knowledge test for 90 Minutes (1½ Hrs) duration and for 50 marks. It consists of 50 multiple choice type questions of 1 mark each. Part-III: General Mathematics test for 90 Minutes (1½ Hrs) duration and for 50 marks. It consists of 30 multiple choice type questions: 15 questions of 1 mark each (Total 15 marks), 10 questions of 2 marks each (Total 20 marks), and 5 questions of 3 marks each (Total 15 marks). The Distribution of common Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheets begins at 9.20 A.M. and the Question Paper Booklet of Part-II (General Knowledge) will be issued by 9.30 A.M. The Question Paper Booklet of Part-II (General Knowledge) will be collected back at 11.00 A. M. The distribution of Part III (General Mathematics) Question Paper Booklets starts at 10.55 A.M. and the distribution will be completed by 11.00 A. M. The Question Paper Booklets of
Part-III (General Mathematics) and the common OMR answer sheet will be collected back at 12.30 P.M. Part I: Draftsman (Civil) Trade in ITI: Descriptive Type examination Question Paper along with the Answer Booklet will be issued at 2.00 P.M. Both Part-I Question Paper and answer booklet will be collected back at 5.00 P.M. 1. Instructions pertaining to Hall Ticket a. Hall ticket issued to the candidate is an important document and is required to be preserved carefully. b. Hall ticket is not transferable. Any tampering of Hall Ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate. c. Candidate shall arrive at the examination hall at least half an hour before commencement of the examination. This will enable the candidate to familiarize himself/herself with the OMR Answer Sheet. d. Candidates are not allowed into the examination hall even if they are LATE BY A MINUTE. e. Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination hall once the examination has commenced. f. Candidates are permitted to use Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only. g. Candidates are required to bring the following to the examination hall: i) Hall Ticket ii) A good Ball Point Pen (Black/Blue) h. Except the items listed in Serial No. (1.g) above, the candidate should not bring any other material. This instruction sheet also should not be brought into the examination hall. Candidates should not bring digital watches, Log books, Tables, any type of Calculators, Pagers, Cell Phones etc., into the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of any forbidden material will be sent out of the examination hall and he/she will not be permitted to leave the examination centre until the completion of examination. i. The candidate shall read carefully the instructions before he/she starts answering the questions. j. The examination starts at 9.30 A.M. The Candidate shall first fill in the details pertaining to the Question Paper Booklet No. and Booklet Code on the OMR Answer Sheet as well as on the Nominal Roll. k. Signature of the candidate and Left Hand Thumb Impression is to be filled in the respective spaces provided in the nominal rolls in the presence of invigilator only. l. Candidates must remain seated in their allotted places till the completion of the examination. In no case they will be allowed to leave the examination hall till the end of the examination. Before leaving the examination hall, the candidates must ensure to return the OMR Answer Sheet and question paper booklets (pertaining to Part II & Part III) & question paper and answer booklets of Part-I to the Invigilator. Candidates are permitted to leave the examination hall only when the Invigilator
satisfies with the complete receipt of OMR Answer Sheets and Question Papers & Answer Booklets. m. The candidates shall have to abide by the instructions that may be announced by the Chief Superintendent/Invigilator in the examination hall/room. n. Candidates who do not appear for Part-II & Part-III tests will not be permitted to appear for Part-I test. o. Candidate will not be allowed to write anything on Hall Ticket or any other paper. If he/she found doing so, he/she may be disqualified/ booked under malpractice case for using unfair means and will be prosecuted as per malpractice norms in vogue. OMR SHEET AND TEST BOOKLET 2. Instructions pertaining to OMR Answer Sheet a. Every candidate appearing for FDRT 2014 shall be provided with a specially designed Candidate Specific Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet (Answer Sheet), on which the candidate shall have to mark the answers and other relevant data. The method of marking the answers is illustrated in this section. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given for marking the answers and other entries on the OMR Answer Sheet thoroughly and practice. b. The OMR Answer Sheet should be handled carefully by the candidates. They are advised not to fold, wrinkle or tear the answer sheet under any circumstances. Further, the candidates are advised not to scribble or make any marks on the answer sheet except marking the answers and other relevant data at appropriate places on the answer sheet. Any violation of these instructions will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate. c. Candidates shall note that they will not be given under any circumstances a second blank OMR answer sheet. Hence, they are advised to be careful while handling their OMR answer sheets. d. In FDRT 2014, the Candidate Name, Hall Ticket Number, Post applied, Photograph etc., are already printed on OMR answer sheet as per the data furnished by the candidate in his/her application form. The Candidate shall ensure that whether he/she received his/her own OMR answer sheet or not. If there is any discrepancy in the printed details or damage to the sheet, it is the responsibility of the candidate to bring it to the notice of the Invigilator immediately and get the blank OMR answer sheet. e. Candidates shall mark the correct answer in the OMR answer sheet by shading in Dark the appropriate circle with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen. f. The Question Paper Booklet Code of Part-II & Part-III (i.e. A, B, C and D) are also to be filled by the candidate in the OMR Sheet as and when given. g. The candidate must put his/her signature within the space provided. h. The OMR Sheet has been designed for Paper-II and Paper-III (together). If the candidate does not follow the instructions or does not fill up all columns properly, the OMR Sheet will not be evaluated. Any resultant loss to the candidate on the above account for not following the instructions shall be his/her responsibility.
i. All the entries must be confined to the space provided. The candidate must fill in the appropriate circle clearly with Black/Blue color ball point pen only. j. The candidate has to respond to the questions in the OMR Sheet only. If the darkening of the circle is done at any other place in the OMR Sheet, it will not be evaluated. The candidate should fill his/her response in the OMR Sheet after careful thought. Once marked, no change in the answer is allowed in the OMR Sheet. More than one response is not permitted. k. Change of response by scratching or using white fluid is prohibited. Such candidate is liable to be kept under the category Unfair Means. The result of the candidate may not be processed and may be declared disqualified. l. Signature of the candidate on the OMR Sheet is mandatory, failing which his/her result may not be processed and may be declared disqualified. m. The candidate should follow the INSTRUCTIONS given on the OMR Answer Sheet, Fill up the information and darken all the Relevant Circles on the OMR answer sheet carefully, otherwise the Answer Sheet will be invalid. n. Use Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only to darken the appropriate circles. Pencil should not be used for darkening the circles. The circles should be darkened fully. Darkening of more than one circle against any question automatically becomes invalid. Darkened circle cannot be changed. A lightly or faintly darkened circle will be treated as a wrong method of marking and will be rejected by the Scanner. There will be four responses for each question in FDRT-2014 Examination. The candidate has to indicate the correct response to the question by darkening the appropriate circle completely with Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen only. For example, Question No. 25 in the Question Paper Booklet reads as follows: Question No. 25: What is the atomic symbol of Gold? (a)au (b) Ag (c) Cl (d) G The correct answer to this question is (a) Au. The candidate has to locate the question No. 25 in the OMR Answer Sheet and darken the circle Please do not fold the OMR Answer Sheet and do not make any stray mark on it.
Some examples of wrong/correct way of marking are as follows: 3. Instructions pertaining to Question Paper Booklet i. The candidate should not open the seal of the Part-II Question Paper Booklet before 9.30 a.m. and Part- III before 11.00 a.m. ii. The Question Paper Booklets of Part-II & Part-III consist 50 questions each (Total 100 questions) for category I posts. The Question Paper Booklets of Part-II consist 50 questions & Part-III consist 30 questions (Total 80 Questions) for Category-II post. The questions are multiple choice type and four responses are given to each question out of which only one response is correct for the given question. iii. Candidates are required to answer all the questions. There are no negative marks for incorrect answers. iv. If a candidate writes his/her Mobile number or puts any special mark/sign/symbol at any place on the OMR Sheet or Part-I answer Booklet which may disclose, in any way, the identity of the candidate, he/she will render himself/herself liable for disqualification, under unfair means rule. v. Candidates must fill up all columns provided in the Question Paper Booklet and OMR Sheet carefully.
