It is at the discretion and judgement of each Principal of these schools, to determine, based on guidelines and agreed criteria, the student(s) they wish to select for a Tertiary Education Scholarship awarded by Central Lakes Trust. The allocation of the number of scholarships to be awarded at the five High Schools in the CLT region is based on the school s eligible Year 13 roll. An additional pool of funds is available to students who come from the Central Lakes Trust region, who attend a school outside the region but in New Zealand or who are home schooled within the Central Lakes Trust region. These applications must be sent directly to Central Lakes Trust by the closing date, where decisions will be at the discretion of Central Lakes Trust, who may directly liaise with relevant personnel from the schools or teachers involved.
