(CABM) : 07 A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely: Criteria for selection: i) Physical Sciences ii) Mathematics Age: The selection of candidates for all the seats, shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the EAMCET-2014 in their respective local areas from out of the merit lists prepared for this purpose. The candidates will be selected based on merit, presidential order, region and social status. Reservations: The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age on 31 st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped candidates. Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum Rural Area : Forty per cent (40%) of the seats in the ANGRAU are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists actually engaged in and owing not less than 3 acres of land and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas. Candidates seeking admission under this category should produce a certificate in Form-I of application with patta numbers and extent of land obtained from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer and also a Certificate in Form-II of application from the Head Master of the School that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1 st class to 12 th class/intermediate (Non-Municipal Area Certificate). If the certificates as prescribed above are not been filled in the proforma in the application form and duly signed by the concerned Head of Institution or Officer mentioned above along with office seal, the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.
Reservation of Seats : Backward Classes: 29% of seats are reserved under this category. BC-A 7% ; BC-B 10% ; BC-C 1% ; BC-D 7%, BC-E 4% Scheduled Caste (SC) 15% Scheduled Tribe (ST) 6% Allocation of seats in favour of Local candidates in relation to Local area: Admission to 85% of the seats after excluding those reserved for the candidates from non-local areas / un-reserved (15%) shall be reserved in favour of and allocated among the candidates in relation to the local area in respect of the A.U. Area, O.U. Area and S.V.U. Area in the ratio of 42 : 36 : 22 respectively. Fee: The particulars of fees in respect of three courses of U.G. Programmes are given hereunder for ready reference. The candidates who are granted admission shall pay the prescribed fees at the time of joining the college and hostel.
