Our teacher works hard to find interesting and relevant topics to encourage us all to use the language points we are developing, but in ways that would be helpful in the real world. It s a really warm, fun and inclusive class. Lucy G 54

Languages Modern Foreign Languages We offer a variety of languages from complete beginners to more advanced levels for our most popular languages. For more information on what is covered in each course please see our course outlines. The majority of our levels are divided into three modules of 20 hours each. (0-60 hours) These classes take you from complete novice to being able to hold a simple conversation on everyday topics for example ordering a drink. To join a Part 2 or Part 3 course you will need 20-40 hours equivalent knowledge. Plus This is a follow on course for lunchtime. To join you will need around 30-40 hours or equivalent knowledge. The course has an intensive pace. Pre- (60 120 hours) At this level we will move from simple conversations to describing past events and talking about predictions and future plans. (120 180 hours) will consolidate your previous knowledge and improve your speaking accuracy and fluency. Progression Route Language Upper (over 180 hours) This class is for confident speakers who want to develop their fluency and improve their grammar through challenging discussions and debates on current affairs and cultural issues. Culture/Latin American Culture These classes will give you an opportunity to practise your conversation skills while learning about aspects of Francophone or Spanish speaking countries. Develop Skills to Support your Work We offer qualifications in Community Interpreting at Level 1 and Level 2 and British Sign Language at Level 1. For all of these courses you must start with a Prepare for course as an introduction to the subject. Xavier Butt Spanish Pre- At Idea Store Learning I came with one main goal to be fluent in Spanish. I have very much enjoyed my course because I find personal fulfilment in my progress. Every lesson I have progressed and learnt new things. This term we have been focussed on the three main past tenses: the past simple; the past perfect; and the imperfect. As I have picked up the material quickly and efficiently, the tutor has continued to challenge me with more advanced vocabulary and grammar. I plan to continue with Idea Store Learning. I would recommend the course to other learners because it is fluid, informative and enjoyable. I have confidence in Pablo s teaching style and that I will get to be fluent.
