MySchoolBucks Program Fee to Increase Parents who make online cafeteria payments using MySchoolBucks will see an increase in the Program Fee from $2.00 to $2.49 beginning Dec. 11, 2017. Rolla Public Schools is not responsible for this increase. It comes in direct relation to increased fees associated with card schemes that Heartland/ MySchoolBucks can no longer continue to absorb. This is the 1st time that the company has raised the Program Fee in 16 years. You are still encouraged to use all of the free features of a MySchoolBucks online account to monitor your child s cafeteria information. You are always welcome to send meal payments to school with your student and thus avoid any fee. The Program Fee is only applied whenever an online payment is made. If you have any questions, please contact Heartland/ MySchoolBucks via telephone at (855) 832-5226 or email them at support@myschoolbucks.com. Each month at RJH, students that demonstrate positivity and the bulldog code are nominated to become Student of the Month. Congratulations! We will finish the study of Earth and Space Science before the winter break. Our next unit of study will be Force and motion, which is a very lengthy unit. The study of Force and Motion will consist of the direction of motion, straight line motion, circular motion, speed, velocity, and acceleration, friction, gravity, interaction of force and mass, and Newton s Laws of motion. Hope your child enjoys what I have in store for them next quarter. Ikie Bonebrake 7th Grade Science

Mrs. Snodgrass has been in the 8th grade careers classes working with students to develop their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). Students have put a lot of thought and effort into exploring their high school and career options. If your student is taking careers class this semester, you should have seen and signed their planning worksheet. If you did not see this, and would like to, please contact Mrs. Snodgrass at the number below. We are very blessed to have a relationship with our Lioness and Lions Clubs here in town. With their generous donations, we are able to take several needy students shopping for Christmas. The students get an opportunity to select gifts for their families. This is a huge experience for them and the joy shows on their faces when we are finished shopping. Please visit your student/parent portal site to review your student s grades as we wind up the first semester on December 20th. Pay close attention to their AR score in English/Reading classes. That is an often overlooked area. We hope you have quality time with your families over the holidays. We truly enjoy working with your kids! As always, feel free to contact us anytime with questions or concerns.
