ACCOUNTING (AAT) ADMINISTRATION Level 2 Level 4 Level 1 Level 2 Each level takes one year to complete. Each level takes one year to complete. About the courses About these study programmes These courses are designed for those wishing to pursue a career in the accountancy profession. These study programmes are designed to build up from the fundamental office skills gained at Level 1 to more difficult office administration tasks at. Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) accreditation is gained through three stages: Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Diploma in Accounting and Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. On completion of the final stage and, provided students have relevant work experience, full membership of the AAT is attained. It is a highly regarded professional qualification and increasingly popular with employers. These are part time, full cost courses for learners aged over 19. The Level 2 and 3 courses are available part time during the day or the evening. The Level 4 course is an evening course delivered over two nights. As you work through the levels, you will gain the confidence to apply for jobs within this field. You will study office systems and procedures and learn how important it is to be an effective and co-operative team member and how to communicate with colleagues at all levels. You will also gain skills in telephone, reception, word processing, health and safety, stock, spreadsheets and databases, working within a realistic working environment. Over the course of the levels, you will study a range of topics including Customer service Communication Level 2 Diploma in Accounting. & LAW MANAGEMENT CADET PROGRAMME This in Business & Law study programme is a practical, work related qualification. It has been developed to accommodate the needs of employers and allow progression to university. It provides a more practical, real-world approach to learning alongside a key theoretical background. The programme is designed as a specialist qualification for students who wish to keep their options open for pursuing a career in a legal or business environment. The qualification is made up of 4 core units and a range of specialist units. These specialist units allow you to explore particular topics in more depth such as: Aspects of criminal law affecting business Civil liability This programme is for 16 to 18 year olds who wish to start their career journey into business management and leadership. You will study for a BTEC in Business at the College for three days per week and spend two days per week on placement at Aintree University Hospital, gaining significant practical hands-on experience that will develop your skills and employability further. During your placement, you will work across the hospital in a variety of different business functions. You will shadow managers, attend strategic meetings, gain practical experience and a thorough understanding of the attributes and qualities needed to become a leader at a large organisation such as the NHS.
