Please call the rectory to register or Deacon Germain 860-916-4298 or e-mail: st.james.adultfaithformation@gmail.com. What is the meaning of life? It s the question we all ask at some point. Sometimes it feels like we re just going through the motions, day after day, week after week. Some of us think we ll find the answer through relationships, material things, or success. But even if few attain these, we still have an inner sense that something s missing. We may even try spiritual things, but it never seems to truly fill the void. Discovering Christ is for everyone aged 18 and up who is curious about the meaning of life. Whether you go to church faithfully every Sunday or haven t been to church in years we welcome you. Over the course of 7 weeks we ll serve you a delicious, catered dinner and then you ll hear an interesting and thought-provoking talk that is designed to explore the meaning and purpose of your life. After each talk, you ll get a chance to share your thoughts in a small group. You can talk as much or as little as you want, and it s all done in a warm, friendly, judgement-free environment! We will begin on September 26, 2018. Find out more about this free event and register at www.stjamesmanchester.org/discoveringchrist, or call Karen Germain at (860) 627-8830 or Kathy Blackwell at (860) 649-8584. Also, registration will be held after Masses on September 8 th and 9 th.
