The modular structure of many of our courses offers students the flexibility to study at their own pace and exit with a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Master s (PgCert, PgDip, MSc) qualification, or simply to study an individual module. Defence Leadership MSc, PgDip, PgCert This course is designed primarily for those with some personal leadership experience in the defence or security arena, who are keen to expand their knowledge and understanding of leadership theory, and to improve their leadership practice. Successful students will have a broad appreciation of the variety of approaches to leadership, a critical understanding of the nature of their own leadership, be able to critically evaluate and lead successful organisational change, and develop leadership in others. Defence and Security Marketing PgCert This course is aimed at those working within the defence and security sector who are looking to expand their knowledge in the field of defence and security marketing. The course explores the ethics, legal ramifications, negotiating strategies, offset processes and strategic export trade control and compliance procedures required to make a positive impact on export performance. Information Capability Management MSc, PgDip, PgCert This course enables participants to understand the strategic importance of information and equips them with the skills to develop agile and effective ways to exploit it to its full potential by ensuring that the right information is available to the right people at the right time in an effective, efficient and secure manner. Accreditation The MSc award of selected courses have, or may be in the process of obtaining, accreditation by the following professional institutions. To find out if a specific course holds accreditations, please visit the course page on our website. My postgraduate study with Cranfield has led to greater employability by improving the weaker areas of my skills and knowledge; in particular I now have a deeper understanding of practical project management. The most enjoyable aspect of my course is the freedom to explore and research, formulating new ideas and concepts from what I ve found. Edward Oates, current student Defence and Security PhD 6
