Work closely with student organizations to create a sense of place and community for students of color in UCSD School of Medicine, specifically with the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), Student National Medical Association (SNMA), Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) and Lesbian Gay Bisexual, Transgender & Allies (LGBT&A). Organized retreats, Orientation,

quarterly meetings and PRIME student council. Collaboration with faculty and UCSD Departments, UCSD Global Health Department, UCSD Ethnic Studies, UCSD Sciences and other university partners. Development of community engagement projects (cultural immersion tours) with the broader San Diego community and to identify opportunities for student involvement. Strengthen and created new partnerships with San Diego community, such as, Lincoln High School, Hoover High School, San Ysidro High School, Barrio Logan College Institute, Reality Changers, TRiO programs, Scripps Chula Vista, Casa Familiar, San Ysidro community, San Diego Mesa College and Southwestern College. Work closely with Alumni Affairs to track and engage the growing number of PRIME alumni.
