From the Principal and the Deputy Principal
From the Principal Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff, All I can say is where has this year gone! It s hard to believe that we are at the end of another momentous year; nonetheless our community has much to celebrate. A very well deserved break awaits us all as we prepare for the coming of our Lord with our family and friends. 2016 thas been another fabulous year filled with many successes and achievements. I take this opportunity to thank all those who were involved in our Awards Assembly which captured beautifully the work and brilliant successes of our students. In particular, I would like to thank Sharyn Coleman for her tireless and dedicated commitment to our students and College in her preparation for such an event. I would like to especially thank the College Leadership Team for the excellence that they have aspired to in all that they have done and achieved this year, and many thanks to the teaching staff and support staff for their diligent and devoted efforts, which have added a great deal of benefit to the girls learning and the building of our St Clare s community. We are indeed fortunate to have such dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic staff. Thank you to our parents and carers for your continued encouragement and support of the College. Thank you to our Parents Association and our Principal s Advisory Council for their commitment to our College. Our College is an incredible place because of your participation and contribution. Lastly thank you to our students for who they are and all that they do. They have been incredible in all that they have achieved and aspire to accomplish. I want them to always remember that If they are all that they should be, they will set the world on fire. Finally On a final note, Christmas is a magical time of year. It brings back warm, happy memories of family gatherings and traditions, which we cherish. Whilst Christmas can mean different things to every person, I hope it is a time filled with love, joy, peace and hope for all, as you relish the goodies, decorate every nook and corner of your home and enjoy the get-togethers... May the joy and festivities continue to radiate in your lives, long after Christmas is gone. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Christmas Blessings on you and your families, Antoinette McGahan Important Dates 2017 Friday 27 January Monday 30 January Tuesday 31 January Wednesday 1 February Thursday 2 February Friday 3 February Wednesday 8 February Friday 10 February Tuesday 14 February Friday 17 February Friday 24 February Staff return Year 7 Students return Years 8-12 return in full summer uniform Year 7 Information Evening: 6pm in the College Hall Stage 4 Curriculum and Assessment Evening: 7pm in the College Hall Year 7 Spirituality Day High Achievers Assembly: 10am in the College Hall Stage 5 Curriculum and Assessment Evening: 6pm in the College Hall Preliminary HSC Curriculum and Assessment Evening: 7pm in the College Hall College Swimming Carnival: Des Renford Opening School Mass College Photo Day (full summer uniform) Parents' Welcome and Cocktail Evening
