Directions for Logging Into or Signing Up for Khan Academy 1. Go to khanacademy.org. We do not recommend using the app. It isn t as accurate in keeping track of your completed skills. 2. Click Sign up in upper right corner if you do not have a Khan account and continue with step 3. or click login if you have a khan account and skip to step 6. 3. If you DO NOT have an account, click on Learner and type in your date of birth. 4. You can then either click on the red continue with Google and sign up with your OCS email or you can click on the green sign up with email. Please type your Last Name in for first name and your First Name in for last name. 5. Choose your Mission. Go to Math by subject to choose Algebra II (if you re going into College Prep Geometry or Geometry) Pre-Algebra (if you re going into Algebra I) 6. Make sure your Username is showing up in the upper left corner with your LAST NAME first, and your FIRST NAME last. If it is not, click on Pick a username and fix it. This way I can find you easily by your last name in alphabetical order! 7. Click on coaches and type in your class code. * Entering Geometry (Reg & CP)... your summer work: Algebra II Class code: B5MD26M7 * Entering Algebra I... your summer work: Pre-Algebra Class code: Y87GFG2R

8. Then click on home. 9. Then click see all. 10. Then click on mission. 11. Click show all skills and you will now see all the skills available, the gray boxes. You only need to complete the skills (gray boxes) on the attached sheet. You do not need to do the skills that are crossed out! To practice a skill, hover over a gray box. A pop-up appears that shows the skill. If it is one that is assigned, click on it. When the gray box turns a shade of blue, that means the skill has been completed (practiced). Any shade of blue is good. 12. The skills may be done in any order, and students may watch the corresponding videos as needed. Completion of ALL of these skills (any shade of blue is considered completion) will be the score of your first test in your new math class.
