SUPPLIERS Top of the Class School Uniform A local supplier based in Tokyo. Deliveries can be made on the next business day and there are deliveries once a week to the Shibuya and Showa campuses. Provides all uniform apart from some secondary PE kit and swimming team kit. All uniform items include name labels. Order at www.schooluniform.jp LANDS END LANDS END A US-based supplier. Some items MUST carry the school logo (denoted below). All uniform, including any coats and jackets worn to school, must be clearly labelled with the student s name. All Top of the Class uniform items have a name label and iron-on labels can be purchased from www.stuckonyou.biz SIZING Top of the Class offers trying on days (see http://www.schooluniform.ne.jp/trying-on-forsize/ ). Most sizes are given using the Japanese sizing system (based on the child s height). Lands End provides detailed charts to ensure accurate sizing. Trousers, shorts and skorts from both suppliers all come with adjustable elastic inner waistbands. Swimming kit must be a one-piece in either navy or a block colour of your choice. Boys must wear swimming trunks; board shorts are not acceptable. Swimming hats are mandatory. All Primary children must have white shoes with non-marking soles to wear during assembly (Nursery - Y3) and during indoor P.E. lessons (Nursery - Y6). Children in Nursery and Reception do not change for PE. House T shirts are for house events such as Sports Day. All coats and jackets worn to school must be navy or black. All Primary children must have a light-weight raincoat of any colour in their backpack at all times. Outdoor shoes must be black leather. Black trainer-style shoes and suede are not acceptable. High heels must not be worn at any time. All Primary children must have a navy or black backpack. BST backpacks are optional. All Primary children must have a sun hat during summer months. Any style and colour is acceptable, however BST caps and hats are available from our local supplier, Top of the Class.
