MACC PROGRAM OUTLINE Planning on becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)? CURRENT GOODMAN BACC APPLICANTS Goodman's BAcc-MAcc pathway is accredited by CPA Ontario. Goodman's BAcc/MAcc CPA pathway will allow you to complete all the required courses and modules for the CPA designation. Upon graduation from the MAcc program, you will proceed directly to the Common Final Exam (CFE). The MAcc program covers all four CPA elective modules, plus Capstones 1 and 2. GOODMAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS CPA PATHWAY BAcc MAcc CFE 4-4.5 YEARS (BACC) + 7 MONTHS (MACC) CPA PEP PROGRAM BAcc Core Module 1 + 2 Elective Module 1 + 2 4-4.5 YEARS (BACC) + UP TO 2 YEARS (CPA PEP) Capstone 1 + 2 CFE NON-GOODMAN APPLICANTS Applicants who did not complete Goodman's BAcc program should consult with the Graduate Programs Office to determine eligibility for the MAcc CPA pathway. Applicants must have completed a four-year bachelor's degree in accounting, in Canada, that fulfills the equivalent CPA Ontario 51 credit hour prerequisites *. The program prepares you to become a strategic and well-rounded professional in accounting and provides you with advanced coursework covering the CPA elective modules of Assurance, Tax, Finance and Performance Management. In addition, our program covers the content for Capstone 1 and 2 which provides you with the necessary integration and case analysis skills to prepare you for successful completion of the Common Final Exam (CFE). ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS Dean of Graduate Studies Entrance Scholarships are worth $1,000 and are awarded to full-time domestic and international students admitted to the MAcc program with an admission average of 82% or higher at the time of admission. The Goodman Scholarship Program is exclusive to the Goodman School of Business. Exceptional incoming students can earn a prestigious scholarship worth up to $3,000.
