What is hegartymaths? It is an online learning platform that will help you to improve in Maths and prepare you for your GCSE exams. It will be used to set weekly maths homework. It will be used for revising topics in preparation for exams. It can be used to learn new topics. The Outwood Grange Family of Schools

The videos are in detail. They explain why as well as how. The videos link to prior learning/pre-requisites, cover all minimally different cases. The videos mimic a great classroom teacher but are accessible for students at home. The Outwood Grange Family of Schools

The quiz questions are instantly marked and you re given a chance to try again if you get it wrong. They match the skills shown in the video. Your teacher can see your answers and help you figure out where you re going wrong. The Outwood Grange Family of Schools

Why I love hegarty Maths? The new GCSE is hard! There s new formula to learn, new content and harder questions. Hegarty Maths can help you prepare for it. It gives all students the tool to excel at maths, all you need is the belief, hard work and support and you ll succeed. Your teacher can monitor how long you spent doing your homework, how long you spent on each question, what time you did it, how many times you watched the video, where you went wrong. It learns your mistakes and helps you fix them. (fix up 5) The Outwood Grange Family of Schools

Together, we can support our students to achieve their full potential in Maths Thank you for your continued support m.smith@newbold.outwood.com The Outwood Grange Family of Schools
