An applicant need not come to the College to submit College copy of the Challan after payment of admission fees. But they will have to produce it at the time of verification.
VERY VERY IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY All admissions are PROVISIONAL, subject to fulfillment of norms set by the West Bengal Government, the University of Calcutta and the College, and verification of the required original documents. ANY TYPE OF ERROR IN THE MERIT LIST WILL BE RECTIFIED. Only those applicants (candidates) whose names are in the First Merit Lists can pay the admission fees. In order to pay her/his admission fees ONLINE or to generate Challan for OFFLINE payments at the selected branches of Indian Overseas Bank Branches the applicant would need her/his Application Number and Date of Birth. If multiple payments are made against an application number, no money will be refunded. Admissions taken on the basis of false statement or misstatement are liable to be cancelled and appropriate legal action will be initiated against such applicant. The benefit of reservation in admission will be given to Scheduled Caste/Tribe and OBC applicants of West Bengal origin only. The Scheduled Caste/Tribe and OBC applicants of other states will be treated as General Caste applicants. The Scheduled Caste/Tribe and OBC applicants, with aggregate percentage of marks as high as the lowest aggregate percentage of marks at which General Caste applicants are being admitted as per the Merit List, will be admitted as General Caste candidates and the benefit of
reservation will be extended to the Scheduled Caste/Tribe and OBC applicants with aggregate percentage of marks lower than the cut off for general caste applicants, subject to the reservation quota. The admission procedure for Outstanding Sports Persons who have applied for admission will be notified later on this website. An applicant need not take a print out of the Application Form submitted. The print outs will be taken by the College. For payment of admission fees follow these steps: Go to Put your Application Id Number and Date of Birth Other details of the applicant will be displayed. Check the details. If details are OK, click on Submit. You will be taken to Payment Page.
You can choose either of the following methods of payment: 1. Online Payment through Indian Overseas Bank. 2. Offline Payment through Indian Overseas Bank If you choose Online Payment through Indian Overseas Bank, you can pay using ANY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD or NET BANKING through Indian Overseas Bank gateway. The payment can be made online from 10.00 p.m. of Saturday, June 24, 2017 up to 11.45 p.m. of Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Take a printout of the Online Payment Receipt. If you prefer Offline Payment through Indian Overseas Bank, generate a CHALLAN, take a printout of that CHALLAN and pay at selected branches of Indian Overseas Bank between June 26, 2017 and June 28, 2017 (10.30a.m.- 3.30p.m.). An applicant need not come to College to submit the College copy of the Challan after payment of Admission Fees. The date of verification of original mark sheets and certificates will be notified by 28.06.2017 at the College website.
