team building activities

Dive into fun-filled group activities right here on the shores of Green Lake. From ice breakers, to scavenger hunts and even cooking classes, our sales, events and recreation teams are happy to help plan your activities. 2 Also enjoy social outings with your group on our Escapade yacht, a nearby golf course or a wellness retreat at Evensong Spa. We ll do all we can to make your lakeside team retreat one to remember.

ICE BREAKERS Group Size: 10-100 TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE Time Required: 15-30 minutes 1. Have every team member secretly write down two truths, and one lie about themselves on a small piece of paper. 2. Allow 10-15 minutes of open conversation once step one has been completed. The goal is to convince people that your lie is a truth, while determining everyone else s truths and lies. 3. After, gather in a circle and repeat your truths and lies one by one; have the group vote on which they think is the lie. This game helps to encourage better communication in the group, as well as it lets you get to know your coworkers better. LIFE HIGHLIGHTS GAME Time Required: 30 minutes 1. Begin by asking each person to close their eyes for one minute and consider the best moments of their lives. 2. After, tell each person to take a moment and decide what 30 seconds of their life they would want to relive if they only had 30 seconds left of their lives. 3. After, the leader of the activity will ask each person to explain what their 30 seconds were. The first part of the activity enables participants to reflect back on their lives, while the second part enables them to get a feel for each other s passions, loves, and personalities. 3

TEAM BUILDING Group Size: 10-100 1-2 Hours A BICYCLE BUILT FOR YOU! $59/person You ll divide into teams and each team will build a bicycle and test it to ensure it s safe to ride. You ll then race them in a team competition. Afterward, each team will present them to local children who don t have the opportunity to own a bike. HEIDEL HUNT - LAND OR LAKE! $15/person Utilize your keen intellect to decipher clues and follow their lead to various locations. Teams will have 30 minutes to an hour to complete the hunt. The first team back with all correct answers wins. Choose to explore the resort property, Green Lake area or Big Green by pontoon. Pontoon rentals are an additional cost. TOXIC WASTE $10/person Teams must transfer toxic waste material from an 8 foot, to a 10 foot radiation zone using bungie cords and buckets without spilling any of the contents. You ll learn to strategize a safe method within the alloted time to complete the task. Spilling the toxic waste will irradiate the team and make the task more difficult. 4 MINEFIELD $10/person Teams of two will be divided among the group and navigate their way through an obstacle course. One member of the team will be blindfolded while the other verbally directs them through the course without setting off any of the mines. Setting one off will cause injury to the team and make the minefield more difficult to traverse. HELIUM STICK $10/person Strategize the best way of lowering a pole to the ground by only using your fingertips. If contact is lost with the pole, the team will have to start over. TANK COMMANDER $10/person The group will be divided into teams of two, with each taking a turn being the tank and being the commander. The tank will be blindfolded and guided through the course by the commander to gather the grenades which can be used to injure the other tank and commander units. The last team standing, wins.
