The Head of the Schools Affiliated with the Board under Regional Office, Allahabad Dear Madam / Sir, CBSE CLUSTER- IV It is my great pleasure to inform you that our School has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the CBSE Cluster IV Athletic Meet for session 2015-16 for age group14,16 & 19 years (Boys & Girls) from 3 rd to 5 th Nov., 2015. Regional Officer CBSE, Allahabad N.B.: The National Athletic meet is scheduled to be held from 27th to 30th Dec., 2015 at NH Goel World School Raipur (Chhattisgarh).Therefore the participating school teams are requested to do the necessary arrangements such as, travel reservations for the qualified ones for the national championship. (All the 1st & 2nd place position at cluster level shall qualify to take part in National level Athletic Meet. However, in relays, only the first position winning team from each Cluster will be allowed to participate in Nationals. They are to report at CBSE National Venue.

School Location The school is located on the banks of river Ganga (near Someshwar Mahadev Mandir, Arail Naini), 15km from railway station (Allahabad Junction) & the bus stand. GENERAL INFORMATION A. Event Venue : Delhi Public School Ground 1. Last date of the Receipt Entry: 26 th Oct., 2015 2. Reporting of teams: 2 nd Nov. 2015 at 9:00 AM 3. Meeting with team manager/ Coach: 2 nd Nov. 2015 at 4.00 PM 4. Opening Ceremony: 2 nd Nov. 2015 at 2.00 PM 5. Closing Ceremony: 5 th Nov. 2015 at 1.30 PM 6. Spot and late entry will not be entertained. Postal delay will not be considered as an excuse for accepting the late entry. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITIONS The rules as adopted by the AAFI apply unless other modified in these rules. No team will be allowed to participate without Team Manager/Coach. Physical Education Teacher designated by the participating schools Principal A player shall be under 14, 16, 19 years of age on 31st DEC. 2015. Under 14 Years Born on or after 01.01.2002 Under 16 Years Born on or after 01.01.2000 Under 19 Years Born on or after 01.01.1997 The School has to provide CBSE registration number given in school for students/players studying in class IX and above. The school has to provide class X certificate with photo issued by the board for students/ players studying in class XI & XII. Every school will be entitled to enter only one athlete in each event, except in relay race where a team of maximum five athletes can be entered. An athlete can participate in maximum two individual events and in relay. The athletes winning 1st and 2nd position at Cluster Levels shall qualify to take part in National Level Athletic Meet. However in relays, only the first position winning team from each cluster will be allowed to participate in Nationals. Every team will carry their school flag, for the purpose of March past and to be used during the various ceremonies. Participation in March past is compulsory, failing which their right to participate will be forfeited. All are requested to participate in March Past in their respective school uniform.

BOARDING & LODGING Accommodation will be provided in the school premises for boys and girls lodged on separate Building/floors. Food will be served from Monday 2 nd Nov. 2015 to Thursday 5 th Nov. 2015 @Rs. 350/- per head/day. Female escort must accompany girls team. Coaches/Manager must stay with the students. Mattress and blankets will be provided on rental basis on written request. SECURITY DEPOSIT An amount of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) must be deposited on arrival at the reception counter as security deposit. Although we do not anticipate any damage to the school property by the team members, any damage caused to our property will be adjusted reasonably against the security deposit. However, participants are expected to take good care of our school property and their own belongings. PROTEST Protest of any nature in connection with Athletic Meet will be entertained in writing and it must reach the Organizing Secretary / Chairman and CBSE observer within one hour of the announcement of the results duly accompanied by a fee of Rs. 1000/- per complaint. TRANSPORT Auto is available both at the railway station and the bus stand. However, if prior information in black & white is received about the train time and arrival at Allahabad Junction & bus stand, we may make transport available for the participating teams.
