Major Project (UGC sponsored Interdisciplinary UPE Programme) The title of the project is A study to assess the impact of environment related activity programmes on the students environmental awareness and action skills in secondary schools with special reference to Sundarban Areas. [No. 216/UPE/07, dated 19.4.2007]. The project is for 5 years commencing from April 2007 and total grant is Rs. 3,27,000/-. Dr. Madhumala Sengupta is the Principal Investigator of this project and I am a Coinvestigator. Dr. Madan Mohan Chel, Principal, Sammilani Teachers Training College is another Co-investigator.
