They will help you rate yourself in various areas as well as give you some ideas about what you might try. As you complete your on-line self-assessment quizzes, neatly record your full results onto this worksheet. On completion of your self-assessment Quizzes carefully analyse your results and complete your Personal Concept Map and Written Reflection on a separate sheets of paper. Part B - Who am I? Personal Concept Map Design a concept map (visual) that combines together all that you have learned about yourself through completing your on-line self-assessment quizzes. Review your results and create a unique one-page concept map to summarize your results. The concept map may either be created electronically (Microsoft Publisher 2002 or other word processing program) or with a pencil, paper and ruler. See Figure 1. The following headings should be included (in point form): Abilities list your top three abilities, words that describe each ability, occupational suggestions People, Data and Things list your method descriptions, words that describe each ability, occupational suggestions Work Preferences list your top three methods, words that describe each method, occupational suggestions Values list your top five values Multiple Intelligences list your top three Multiple Intelligences, words that describe each intelligence, examples from your life that demonstrate each intelligence Learning Styles Quiz - Seeing, Hearing, Doing rank your learning styles 1,2,3, and give examples from your life that demonstrate each learning style Workplace Skills/Traits list three strengths and three areas to work on List of 5 occupations generated from online assessments choose and rank your top five suggestions from all quizzes Any other information that you think is important/unique about yourself (optional) Sample Concept Map Template:

Part C - Written Reflection Self-assessment quizzes are designed to help you with your job search. They will help you rate yourself in various areas as well as give you some ideas about what you might try. Write a 3-paragraph reflection analyzing the results of your Self-Assessment Personal Profile. Do you agree or disagree with the results? Why or why not? Have you considered any of the suggested occupations? Why or why not? Explain how you can use the results to help you find a job that suits your interests, abilities, work preferences, values, multiple intelligences, learning styles, skills and personality. Paragraph 1: What did you learn about yourself? What did you confirm about yourself that you already knew? Which results did you disagree with and why? Refer to specific quizzes to support your answer. Paragraph 2: What reoccurring patterns did you see throughout the Who Am I? unit (i.e. things about yourself or suggested occupations)? From the suggested occupations, which would you consider? Paragraph 3: Name and describe at least one career that was suggested that you would never have considered before. What appeals to you about this career and why? Based on everything we ve learned to date, which pathway(s) (University, College, Workplace, Apprenticeship) are you currently considering and why?
