Opportunities await graduates of the programme in the Transport and Service industries including but not limited to Airlines, Airports, Travel agencies, Tour Operators, Car Hires and Destination Branding and Marketing, Private, Public and non-governmental. Tourism management degree program provides students with the business management skills necessary to run their own travel businesses Bachelor of (Hospitality Management) Graduates in this program will be equipped with professional, transferable skills, scientific and technical knowledge in management, research and development of hospitality industry. Career opportunities await graduates of the programme as hotel managers, catering managers, event managers, fast food managers, public house managers, restaurant managers and entrepreneurs in private, public and nongovernmental sectors. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applicants for programmes under Open Distance and Learning should complete a Mzuzu University 2018/2019 ODL Admission Application Form and attach certified copies of their academic qualifications. Applicants for Upgrading and Weekend Programmes should complete a Mzuzu University 2018/2019 Upgrading or Weekend Admission Application Form and attach certified copies of theor academic qualifications Application forms can be obtained from the University website www.mzuni.ac.mw; all District Education Managers Offices and at the Porters Lodge or Registry at Mzuzu University Campus. Applications should be sent by post, or delivered by hand at Mzuzu University Campus in the Registry. Applications sent by e-mail or by fax will NOT be accepted. Applicants submitting more than one application will be disqualified. Candidates should also provide proof of ability to pay fees by attaching a letter from the sponsor or employer confirming sponsorship, or bank statements in the case of candidates supporting themselves. Payment of Admission Application Fee Applications should be submitted with an admission application fee of K10,000.00 for Malawian applicants and US$150 for international applicants. Applications submitted without the admission application fee will be disqualified. Please note that the admission application fee is non-refundable.
