Aim of this course is to introduce the procedure how economically trained people think and some concepts related with Microeconomics. Eco 104: The Introduction to Macroeconomics - This course introduces the principles of macroeconomic analysis, its analytical methods with current institutional and empirical issues. Topics include national income accounting; issues relating to unemployment, inflation; determination of output, price level, money and banking. It also gives an introductory account of the monetary and fiscal policies; budget and trade deficits; and exchange rate.

Eco 134: Applied Mathematics I - This course discusses application of some of the introductory level mathematical principles in Business and Economics. Topics include Modeling, Curve sketching, Matrix, Limits and continuity, Differentiation, comparative statics and their application in Business and Economics. Aim of this course is to introduce basic mathematical concepts to understand their applications and to prepare students for introducing higher level mathematical concepts. Eco 244: Applied Mathematics II - This course discusses application of some of the intermediate level mathematical principles in Business and Economics. Professional growth activities Attended a two day workshop for An Introduction to SAS for Windows, dated May 7 th and 14 th May 2010 held by Institute of Social Research York University, Toronto, Canada. Two day short course on overview of SAS and it s underlying logic ; an explanation of the use of the display manager system to run a SAS job; and introduction to the SAS data step for reading, importing,transforming and storing numeric and character data. Further saw the programming techniques to modify data, create charts and plots and transform temporary datasets to permanent datasets.

YEF is an academic club in the North South University where interaction between economists and students are encouraged; economists who work in and outside of the academia are brought in, to share their thoughts and ideas. This platform gave me the scope along with the students to organize few successful events, two of the examples are- Organized Cross Talk 2012 (A talk show where experts panelists would choose the best speaker among the students), Econ fest unprecedented public-speaking competition (where young economists where tested for their knowledge, intelligence and promptness regarding economics and worldly issues. It consisted of two sessions: Quiz Fiesta and The Battle of the Ecoholics ). Equilibrium 2012 (an official magazine of YEF) was published under my supervision and so on. Awards and Recognitions: Won the best paper award for a (IRBR) Journal, International Review of Business Research papers Journal, at the international conference titled-13 th Asian Business Conference, held at Biam Foundation, dated 26 th - 27 th December 2015, in Dhaka.
