Introduction While attending school all pupils of the BSM must wear the prescribed school uniform for the section of the School they attend. The same applies when participating in a school-organised event outside normal school hours. Parents are provided with a comprehensive uniform list when a child joins the School. The uniform list is updated from time to time and the most recent version can be found on the School website. Pupils wear uniform in order to engender a sense of community and to identify them with the School. The uniform also helps to support positive behaviour and encourages pupils to be properly prepared for working at school. The uniform varies according to the age of the pupils and is intended to be age appropriate. Parents have the responsibility to ensure that their child has the correct BSM school uniform, and that it is clean, labelled with their child s name and in good repair. Sanctions and Rewards A system of sanctions and rewards applies to the wearing of the school uniform.
