3 As a team we have a diverse skill set and theoretical orientations that enable us to offer a person centred approach and support that is tailored to your individual needs. We have expert psychiatrists who are medically trained doctors that can assess, diagnose and treat with medication and/or referral for therapy. A Clinical psychologist has a psychology degree and undertakes further training in various healthcare settings. They are trained in different types of counselling therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and or psychodynamic therapy. A psychotherapist can come from any professional background and offers long term therapy with the individial or family using different approaches such as systemic family therapy or psychoanalysis.

We offer therapy for a wide range of issues from day to day worry to complex issues. We offer training courses in mental wellbeing to parents, families and organisations. Support groups for new or young parents wanting advice and information. Systemic family therapy. Parenting courses such as the incredible years parenting course as well as child behaviour management courses for parents/carers and families. We also offer individual therapy to adults who are not parents and wishing to have therapy due to stress relationship issues and difficult life events.

8 FAMILYWELLNESSPRACTICE.COM WHO ARE OUR CLIENTS Our client base is varied, although the majority are self-referred professionals (and their families) working and living in and around London and the UK. We have worked closely with Barnados Charity, offering group and individual therapy to young carers children and establishing support groups. We work with local state and independent schools/nurseries to offer 1:1 counselling/therapy to students, training and support to SENCO s and teaching staff.

11 OUR COURSES The Training Wellness provides a team of highly experienced specialist clinicians including Psychiatrists, psychotherapists and psychologists who have experience in delivering the highest quality training standards in line with Continuing Professional Development principles. We are a CPD accredited training organisation and offer CPD accredited courses with certificates. We can combine aspects of courses to deliver a bespoke, tailor made course to meet the needs of your staff and organisation. The aim of this Workshop is to increase participants understanding of children s feelings and how these may affect their behaviour. The Workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the importance of looking at triggers for children s challenging behaviour. Promoting positive behaviour in an early years setting and looking at the role the adult has to play. The Workshop will support practitioners as they consider strategies to promote positive behaviour and gain knowledge in working in partnership with parents when dealing with behavioural concerns. The workshop will discuss real case studies and give practical advice and behaviour support plans for practitioners to use. Half of all lifetime cases of mental illness begin by age 14.
