Index: Key to abbreviations Candidate status Diploma Programme candidates must register in one of four categories: diploma, anticipated, retake or certificate. Candidates studying for the diploma may also register for additional subjects, and are referred to here as extra certificate candidates. These categories are identified by one of the following letters.
