Handcross Park School How to Label the Uniform All clothes, shoes and other personal belongings must be marked with the owner s name. If uniform/kit is not labelled correctly it is unlikely to be returned. All labels must be blue text on white background, in capital letters, size 8mm. Please use woven Sew-In name tapes only. Additionally please loop all games kit, including swimming costumes. Please loop towels in the centre of the long side. Note 1 The following items must be labelled on the OUTSIDE. The label must be sewn above the School Crest. INITIAL. Coats, Blazers, Cardigans, Jumpers, Pinafores and Shirts should be labelled inside the collar. Charcoal Trousers/Shorts and Kilts should be labelled inside the waist at the back. All footwear must be clearly named. Note 4 Socks must be named vertically below the top. N.B. Because we value your child s possessions and associated costs if your child does not have the correct or adequate uniform then it will be supplied to them and the cost will be added automatically to your end of term invoice.
