Professional / Tax Technician Level 4 apprenticeship aimed at school leavers, resulting in the CFAB qualification. Apprentices complete a portfolio of evidence and are assessed by case study exam and reflective statement. A series of skills workshops cover all learning outcomes and ensure apprentices are ready for the workplace. Information for employers Our apprenticeship programmes comprise the chosen qualification combined with a suite of skills workshops designed to equip apprentices with the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to complete the apprenticeship. There are various obligations that employers need to fulfil in order to train apprentices, including a commitment to provide at least 20% of an apprentices working hours for off the job learning. This includes all our courses but will also require some additional activities during working hours outside the apprentices day to day responsibilities. Pricing and Funding Accountancy / Tax Professional Level 7 apprenticeship suitable for graduates looking to complete the ACA qualification. A series of skills workshops complement the s Professional Development ladders to meet the skills and behaviour learning outcomes, and assessment is by the final Case exam and a written Project Report. All our apprenticeships are priced within the relevant funding cap. Non levy paying employers are required to contribute 10% of the agreed fee, with the government funding the rest. Information for apprentices You need to find employment in a relevant role in order to undertake an apprenticeship in accountancy. You should have good GCSE grades in Maths and English and ideally two good A levels. The joint programme enables students to achieve both the ACA and CTA qualifications within 3 to 4 years and is an efficient route for students working in tax, with a choice of three specialisms. Students complete 14 of the 15 exams and the CTA Advisory exam (instead of Business ) to become ACA qualified. Upon completion of the CTAs ethics, law and final exams, students gain the CTA qualification. The TC and BS exams must be completed prior to the first CTA advisory exam. Tax Specialisms There are three alternative routes, with a choice of exams under each. The most common combinations are shown opposite. Most students from small and medium sized firms will follow the Owner Managed Business route.
