LLE: GRADES 2-4 ENRICHMENT COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SCHEDULE MONDAY CLASSES ACTING 101 Price: $155 Class Limit: 10 Instructor: Miss Portera (in-house teacher!) Sharpen your acting skills with professional actress Miss Portera! In this class you'll act, make costumes, and perform a short skit for your classmates. Everyone can be a star in Acting 101! BASKETBALL STARS Price: $155 Instructor: BSAK Basketball BSAK Basketball will be conducting a class designed for players of all skill levels. The goal is to teach the fundamentals of basketball while also stressing teamwork, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and the benefits of having a positive attitude. The class will work on ball-handling, passing, shooting technique, layups, offensive/ defensive play, and overall positioning and game strategies, all while ensuring the kids have fun! CHESS Price: $155 Class Limit: 18 Instructor: NAS Chess Academy Our mission is to create an educational and challenging environment for children to learn the greatest strategy game known to man... while having lots of fun! The exciting game of Chess engages children and builds important problem solving skills. Exposing your child to Chess at an early age will help them develop a healthy appreciation of strategy and competition. SHOCKINGLY STICKY SCIENCE Price: $185 Instructor: Mad Science of NJ Your child will learn Watts-Up with electricity and build their own static tubes, learn the magic of magnets as they construct their own Magnet Maze, and get sticky with polymers as they build their own slime! We will use our ears in Sonic Sounds and our eyes to create optical illusions. Just when they thought they ve had all the awesome science they can handle, it s time for Lights, Color, Action! We will make our own indoor fireworks, learn all about heat and make our own cotton candy. This program promises to be educational and entertaining, so don t miss Shockingly Sticky Science!

TUESDAY CLASSES LLE; GRADES 2-4 FUN WITH FOOD Price: $170 Instructor: Mrs. Appleblatt (in-house teacher!) Students will have fun engaging in hands-on cooking activities and they will learn how to make easy and fun recipes to be tried at home. Students will do lots of taste testing and even get to make, create and bring their food home! Fun with Food is great for students who love to try new things and who would like to show off their creativity in the kitchen! SCRATCH CODING Price: $155 Class Limit: 18 Instructor: Mrs Zimmerman (in-house teacher!) Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Come learn to program your own ideas using this easy-to-learn language. Participants should be comfortable using a computer mouse. No previous experience is needed. SPORTS WITH STOKES Price: $155 Play a different sport each week including indoor soccer, basketball, lacrosse, kickball, and having a lot of fun with everyone s favorite gym teacher, Mr. Stokes. GET YOUR SLIME ON Price: $170 Class Limit: 12 Instructor: Ms Plescia (in-house teacher!) Is your child obsessed with slime? Leave the mess at school and come get your slime on with Ms. Plescia! Learn how to make all different kinds of slime to take home week after week! We can t promise your child will never ask to make slime again at home, but we promise to indulge their obsession!

MIXED MEDIUM ART MASTERS Price: $170 Instructor: Ms. Ruck (in-house teacher!) During arts and crafts class, students will use their fine motor skills to create and discover different forms of art. Students can explore their endless abilities through a variety of different mediums ranging from drawing and fine art painting, to mixed media and craft building. STORYTIME SOUVENIRS Price: $170 Class Limit: 12 Instructor: Ms. Garbatow (in-house teacher!) Increase reading fluency while having fun and creating keepsakes! We will break into small groups to read the story for the week. Shared and guided reading experiences help to develop reading strategies. Each week, there will be a new featured story and a fun activity that goes with it! YOGA FUN Price: $155 Instructor: Mrs. Mourao (in-house teacher!) This class will provide a fun and creative approach to yoga! Students will use yoga poses and stretches to play fun filled games and team building activities designed to promote confidence and respect for one s self and others. Breathing and visualization techniques will be used to teach students how to relax and focus.

You will write, act, and directing during each session! We will watch and admire our work at the end of the enrichment session! ACTING 101 Price: $155 Class Limit: 10 Instructor: Miss Portera (in-house teacher!) Sharpen your acting skills with professional actress Miss Portera! In this class you'll act, make costumes, and perform a short skit for your classmates. Everyone can be a star in Acting 101! SOCCER STARS Price: $155 Instructor: Ms. Reynolds (in-house teacher!) The soccer program will provide soccer training for all levels, beginners to experts! There will be separate drills for those looking to learn, and those looking to improve their skills. So come join your friends for a fun afternoon of soccer!

FRIDAY CLASSES LLE: GRADES 2-4 ROBOTICS Price: $185 Instructor: Mad Science of NJ Explore the technology used to design and build your own robot! Learn about simple machines, gear structure, battery wiring, motor principles, and electronic circuits. Experiment with different forms of locomotion. Build your very own robot to take home and other projects. Don t miss this amazing opportunity! SCRAPBOOKING Price: $170 Instructor: Ms. Mourao and Ms Worgul (in-house teachers!) Students will learn and discover how to use photographs, memorabilia, various embellishments and lettering to create a personal and fun scrapbook of their own! BASKETBALL STARS Price: $155 Instructor: BSAK Basketball BSAK Basketball will be conducting a class designed for players of all skill levels. DMS CLASSES TUESDAYS ANALYZING AND AUTHORING COMIC BOOKS Price: $155 Instructor: Mr Murphy (in-house teacher!) This course will look closely at comic books as a genre of literature to develop an understanding of themes. In addition, students will have the opportunity to use that knowledge to develop their own comic books. WEDNESDAYS ACTING Price: $135 Instructor: Miss Portera (in-house teacher!) Sharpen your acting skills with professional actress Miss Portera! In this class you'll act, make costumes, and perform a short skit for your classmates.
