OR Pre-University Vocational courses from recognized Board with Lab Technical subjects as vocational subjects. 2. B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology / Radiotherapy: Pre-University examination conducted by department of Pre-University Education or any recognized State Board with 40% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as Principal subjects. OR PUC from a recognized board with vocational course in Radiography/Radiology as Vocational subjects. OR An equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, for the above purpose with 40 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as principle subjects. 3. B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology / B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology: Pass in two years P.U.C. Examination or equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with any combination, but should have studied any of the two subjects, viz, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology. An equivalent examination other than two years P.U.C. of Karnataka PUC Board should obtain and furnish the eligibility certificate issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at the time of admission. METHOD OF SELECTION: The selection is made entirely on the basis of Performance of candidates in the Interview conducted by the Selection Committee of the Institute. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities are exempted from payment of Tuition Fee. The above fee structure is subject to change at any time as per the rules of the Institution. Any other Fee prescribed by KMIO/RGUHS will be borne by the Candidate. Fees and other charges once paid will not be refunded if the student leaves the Institute before completion of term or does not join the Institute for any reason before the prescribed date. No correspondence will be entertained in this connection. ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE:- All the selected students have to produce the Eligibility Certificate issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences before paying the prescribed fee. HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION: Selected candidates may be provided accomodation subject to the availabality on a sharing basis /dormitory for stay in the premises, and they have to pay the prescribed Hostel fees on the 1 st of every month, failing which they have to vacate the hostel rooms immediately. No accomodation will be provided for failed students. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION: For each course, application will be given separately. Candidates are advised to go through the Institute advertisement carefully before sending their application to the Institute. Applications should be filled in the prescribed form and sent to the Director, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore-560029. Candidates in employment have to route their applications through the proper channel. All particulars in the application form should be entered carefully and legibly and sent to the Director, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore-560029, in per / by Registered Post with Acknowledgement due so as to reach on or before 10-8-2014 by 5.00 PM. The application fees once paid will not be refunded in any case. Applications which are incomplete shall not be considered. The Institute will take no responsibility for any delay in the receipt or loss of application in postal transit. INTERVIEW: All the candidates must appear for the Interview along with all the Original Certificates at 10.00 AM on 26-8-2014 at Director s Chamber. GENERAL INSTRUTIONS: Application received after the due date will not be considered. All particulars in the application form must be written carefully and legibly.
The decision of the Director of the Institute shall be final in the matter of selection of candidates for admission to the various courses and no appeal shall be entertained on the subject. Any attempt on the part of a candidate to influence directly or indirectly will be treated as a disqualification. Each candidate selected for admission shall have to pay the fee / dues within the prescribed period failing which his / her admission shall be cancelled and the next candidate on the waiting list shall be admitted in the order of merit. The period of course is strictly full time and continuous. All students admitted to the Institute shall maintain good conduct, pay the requisite tuition fee and other charges by due dates, attend their classes regularly and abide by the regulations of the Institute failing which their names are liable to be struck off from the attendance rolls of the Institute. No individual intimation to unselected candidates will be sent and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained. The rules are subject to change in accordance with the decision of the Institute from time to time. Selected candidates must join the respective course within the date stipulated in the letter of selection. The seats of candidates who fail to join the course with the stipulated time mentioned in the letter of selection shall automatically stand cancelled and such shall then be given to the candidate in the waiting list in the order of merit. Selection of each student will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidates will be permitted to pay fees and join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the Institute. The decision of the Medical Board shall be final.
