National Resource Center for Inclusive Education CENAREC MEP Actions have been developed through: Technical Assistance Department (DAAT in Spanish) Regional Offices located in Limón, Coto, San Carlos and Liberia Center for the production of educational materials in Braille system, relief, macro and sound (CEBRA)

DAAT y Regional Offices: Provide advice on the design, adaptation and evaluation of support products required by students with disabilities, from the Costa Rican education system. Provide the technical criteria for the MEP to provide these support products according to the needs of each student. It offers: Advice and follow up on products to support the student population with disabilities in the national education system. Loan of support products in counseling processes for students with disabilities.

Technical Assistance Department and Regional Offices The "Procedure for granting the product to support students with disabilities" in coordination with the Direction of Equity Programs of the Strategic Control Unit of the MEP 1107 students who have benefited throughout the country (2008 2017) Training in technological support products People with disabilities and support products 27 Regional Education Directions Organization and participation in exhibitions and technology fairs on support products.

CEBRA Center attached to CENAREC, whose primary objective is the adaptation of educational materials for the population with visual disabilities. Adaptation of educational material Braille system, relief, macro or sound. Advice on the use of electronic equipment (computers and mobile devices) to guarantee access to information for the visually impaired population. Users with visual disability Family Computer teachers, I and II Cycles and special education

CEBRA Training at special education teachers, in the field of visual support Preparation of documents in audio formats Transfer of information on paper to accessible digital formats Access to information in digital media Magnifiers and / or screen readers, according to the recommendations of the W3C.
