ENGLISH CURRICULUM Course Description: Credits: 2 (required) Grade Level: Freshman status This is a survey course that introduces the student to a wide range of English subject areas. The study of literature includes short stories, novels, poetry and plays. Composition is an integral part of the literature program. Grammar and usage are formally studied and stressed in all aspects of speaking and writing. Speaking and vocabulary development are included.
