Intervention Department Chair: Emily Kriss- emily_kriss@olsd.us 14 Intervention Specialists Manage caseload of students with identified academic needs Students interact and check in with Intervention Specialist daily. Students typically stay with the same Intervention Specialist all 4 years. Provide support through Intervention Study Center Co-taught classes Specialized Learning Center. Study Center work on individual goals, completing daily assignments and study skills. Co-taught classes- Supported by both regular education teacher and Intervention Specialist. What would your child s schedule look like? Start the day at LHS - First three periods followed by lunch Take shuttle to OA for the rest of the day. Take the shuttle back to LHS to take their regular bus home. Students are selected using a random lottery 100 students per class Interest Applications are Due Feb 4th available on OA s website STEM Open House - January 31st 6-8PM
