OVERVIEW ESF transnational Learning Network Funded through the European Commission 1 st June 2013 30 th May 2015 Tackle unemployment amongst socially disadvantaged groups by enhancing social inclusion and preventing stigmatisation.

TODAY S EVENT Aim: identify most innovative and effective collected practices about the social inclusion of disaffected youth into employment Split into 2 groups: Youth Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) Youth Inclusion and Empowerment Given questionnaires to read before event In pairs review and assess questionnaires using evaluation grid. Scores collated and the 10 with highest scores identified. Select 8 most innovative and effective to be invited to the peer review events Top 5 3 Reserves Draw upon experience and knowledge of what best practice looks like

DAY 1 Plenary Start collected practices marking (pairs within sub-theme groups) Lunch Finish collected practices marking Coffee break and networking Sub-theme group discussion and reflection on 5 key themes Innovation Learning Critical success factors Transferability Any other important points

DAY 2 Sub-theme groups presented with 10 collected practices with highest scores Identify 8 most innovative and effective collected practices (top 5 and 3 reserves) using criteria: Innovation Learning Transferability Looking Ahead workshop questions to ask at peer review events Coffee break and networking Group feedback session and next steps Closing address Lunch and travel home
