Be Equipped: Make sure you have everything you need to do the exam in a clear plastic packet/pencil case: At least two BLACK pens all exams (blue pen can t be read by the scanners) Pencil and eraser science/maths/technology/geography Ruler science/maths/technology/geography Maths equipment (compass and protractor) maths Casio Calculator maths/science/geography Coloured pencils and sharpener technology
Do not bring: The following items must not be brought into the exam room: Notes/Books/Papers Mobile phones/electronic devices/smart watches Pencil cases unless see through Bags and coats Possession of unauthorised items is breaking the rules even if you do not intend to use them and could result in penalty and possible disqualification. You will be told where to leave your bags in the trolleys before the exams. Standard wristwatches are allowed but must be placed on your desk.
Exam Advice: Bring your favourite pens nice comfortable ones! Bring a bottle of water small sips will keep you hydrated and alert don t drink too much though or you ll keep needing the loo! If you have time left, go over the questions again and again and again. If you ve missed any questions, a guess is always worth a try. Try and enjoy it! This is your chance to show off to your teacher exactly what you know.
